On August 18th 2025, SkyNation Publishing announced their formal incorporation, along with two new co-owners.

Ash and Sean have worked for SkyNation Publishing with Renee since 2022 in various capacities. Their skills and expertise have allowed the team to publish four print novels, and one complete audio drama with over thirty-five voice actors, and now they set their sights on the next chapter for this literary endeavour.

The team are focused on providing better royalty rates for their authors, alternative options to mainstream distributors, creative opportunities for industry professionals, and, above all, great stories for their readers. With Renee continuing in her role as Creative Director and overseeing Editing and Marketing, Sean and Ash will helm the responsibilities of Business Development and Finance respectively.

This distribution of roles amongst management will allow SkyNation Publishing to move forward and attempt new projects with greater accuracy and vision, beginning with the release of Lady of Brass (Method of the Kill #2) in late 2025 with their first multi-tiered preorder campaign since Tales of Ale and Chainmail in 2023. The team is also gearing up to open manuscript submissions in November 2025, as production continues on Nathan Greaves' sci fi debut, Stars Apart (Seven Systems #1), now slated for an early 2026 release.

SkyNation Publishing remains entirely independent. All owners are excited to continue working together in an expanded capacity, and to utilise their unique skills in service of creating a new powerhouse of publishing upon the Australian literary landscape.
