Struggling to finalise the fade-to-black scene, and amidst laughter from her editor, Renee decided to add the placeholder of "we bang" as - appropriately - the characters banged. The scene was later fixed, but unfortunately, this file was sent to the beta readers for the novel in 2019, causing quite a lot of confusion.
